Let us ask 'em all, far and wide... "

"One day, he came" said the maid
"That eccentric man, then said
That we should
Use limericks, good
When talking, if we want to be paid".

"Some found them difficult to make
Some found them impossible to fake
And Mr. Tide
Heavily Sighed
That was an insult he couldn't take."

The Inspector, think 'case closed', saith
She replied "No!"
